Wives and Lovers
Hey, little girl,Comb your hair, fix your make-up.
Soon he will open the door.
Don't think because There's a ring on your finger,
You needn't try any more.
For wives should always be lovers, too.
Run to his arms the moment he comes home to you.
I'm warning you.
Day after day,There are girls at the office,
And men will always be men.
Don't send him off With your hair still in curlers.
You may not see him again.
For wives should always be lovers, too.
Run to his arms the moment he comes home to you.
He's almost here. Hey, little girl.
Better wear something pretty, something you'd wear to go to the city.
And dim all the lights,Pour the wine, start the music.
Time to get ready for love.
Dim all the lights,Pour the wine, start the music.Time to get ready for love.
Time to get ready, time to get ready for love.
Time to get ready, time to get ready for love.

I totally agree! I don't think it's just the hormones. I'm sorry, but some days I barely get to shower, forget getting all gussied up like when we were dating. Good thing my hubby doesn't think the way this guy does.
I have that song on a cd. It's performed by Jack Jones. It makes me laugh, kind of like the song "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, better make an ugly woman your wife". One day I'll make my own mix with these and more like "Short people have no reason to live", "The too fat polka", and "Dead puppies aren't much fun." It's like seeing old Doris Day movies like the pajama game where harassment is totally present. It makes me happy that we've come along way baby!
That's a good attitude Julie! I love your sense of humor, wit and the positive attitude you always have. I tell ya, it's the pregnancy hormones that make me so agitated sometimes!
oh my heck what an idiot who wrote this song, how horrible. If those so-called certain pervy men don't want those wives with their curlers in their hair and never dress up then that wife is better off with out that stupid guy. I'm glad not all guys are like that.
