Easter

Last Sunday we celebrated Easter. I wasn't feeling very well, but other than that we had a great time. The girls woke up to an Easter egg hunt and baskets. Lydia and Adelle got their own special loofahs, candy, modeling clay, hair things, and peeps.

Violet got a rattle, a stuffed sheep, and a few little people.

Don't you just love the slobber, soaked pajamas.

We decided to make sugar cookies instead of dying eggs since the girls dyed eggs at their aunt's house a few days earlier. They loved trying to roll the dough, cutting out fun Easter shapes and frosting them.

They were delicious and I probably ate most of them. Yum!! Later that evening we went to Julie's house to enjoy a wonderful meal and time with family!!! It was great to see Julie, Ken, and Allie again. We love holidays!

What fun it is to make sugar cookies. That'll be a fond memory for the girls. Hope you get to feeling better! ...j

It sounds like a sweet and simple holiday. Those are the best kind. I love the Easter basket cookie cutters. So cute!
